I showed my papa and my brother the Christmas gift Gary gave, my brother said that he thought it was a signboard when I sneaked it home. My papa commented ‘你还小啊’. He then continued saying that it’s very 夸张. He saw a lot of people also buying this near his work place there, but not as big as mine!! It’s only 1/3 of the size. MUAHAHAHA. Because I’m an extreme good girl ma, that’s why I have triple the size of others. MUAHAHAHA…

Gary even helped me to name the doll. She’s Bo Bo. Why is that so ... because another doll of mine is named Cha Cha. So when they come together, it becomes Bo Bo Cha Cha. =.=

Today, it was intended to be meeting Gary for Christmas. But as my family had rented a car, my papa suggested that those who don’t have any event today shall go ride-seeing together. Gary and I had arranged to meet today, however I feel bad to abandon my family, furthermore my papa nan de got off. So…I disappointed Gary again.

At 13:18, he called using his mobile phone. I thought the call was only a usual chat we always have but…he was actually DOWNSTAIR!! I quickly rushed down to meet him and saw him hiding behind the wall, so cute. Then...handed me with…THIS!

He told me that only good kids have gifts from Santa Claus. Since I am a good kid, I shall deserve one too…

OMG! This is the best Christmas gift I ever received. Actually I saw this on last Sunday, when I was NTUC’ing with my papa. I saw this guy trying to buy this doll set. SO MANY DRESSES! I even went to count them. 1, 2, 3…there are 60 dresses!! OMG! I sms’ed Gary, telling him what I saw

I was so excited seeing it as it’s always been my dream of having a doll and so many clothes. Though I had one doll which I got it from lucky draw, she doesn’t have many clothes. I still remember, whenever my parents brought me to the departmental store, I would go to the Barbie section, looking at those nice nice dresses on shelves. I’m a thrifty girl. No matter how much I want, I wouldn’t spend on it and never pester my parents to buy, a good girl right. I always stole some cloths (as my parents were tailor) and make Cha Cha (the name of the doll) some clothes. Though it was ugly, I was happy playing around with the clothes and Cha Cha.

So when I saw this guy buying 60 dresses, I told Gary how 幸福 the little girl will be after receiving this present. And today, he turned to me and tells me, ‘now, you are also a 幸福 girl’. WAH!

To celebrate this festive event, I went to shop for Christmas gifts for my family yesterday. Wao, I really make full use of the MRT concession. I shopped from Ang Mo Kio Hub to J8, and traveled to Yew Tee Point and NEX (Serangoon new shopping mall)! Walked until my legs very suan... But luckily, I managed to get all gifts.

Searching for the last gift, Gary accompanied me, enter the NTUC extra at NEX! Just as we stepped in, I saw from far, a Santa hat running around. OMG! IT WAS SANTA CLAUS! I quickly grabbed Gary's hand and walked in a fast pace towards that direction. I keep telling him I saw Santa Claus but he keep saying I see wrongly or was it just the NTUC staff wearing the red Santa hat. Nevertheless, he still brings me there. And when we reached there, it was really a SANTA CLAUS!!! Muahahahaha. That was my first time seeing Santa Claus... And so...

When purchasing the last gift, Gary got me a Christmas gift as well! Tada~

Exams finally over~ During exam period, I keep complaining how bad it is, the hatred I have. But now, when it’s finally over, I feel so empty. It’s like the thing, you always working towards to, is gone. Loss of motivation! Humans are just contradicting. But it’s because of this contradiction, we will then treasure.

Phew! I finally completed my 4 core exams. Now I only left with the last elective exam which falls on coming Monday.

But up to now…the exams didn’t go smooth.

For the first exam, CSC303 Software Engineering II, oh my gosh~ the last 2 questions were damn oh my god. I didn’t even know what they are asking about. As the last 2 questions were inter-linked together with a case study, so when you don’t understand what the case study is about, it’s totally like you don’t know what the 2 full questions are about too. And that worth 50 marks!! Hai. I also failed in this mid-term quiz. Can I really pass?

CSC184, Human Resource Management. It was an exam in the evening. It’s basically a memorizing module. I was so stress in memorizing all the facts the day before. It was really very depressing as there are a whole big chunks of theories need to be in your brain. When you are memorizing this thing, you probably forgot what you had memorized 10 minutes ago, furthermore with my well-known short term memory brain. However, I don’t know why… during the exam, I didn’t elaborate much on each point. Most of them I just gave in the theories. WHY I DIDN’T ELABORATE MORE!!! I wonder how badly I can do for this module…

I don’t know whether it applies to other university, but I hate my uni exam date allocation. They just like to squeeze the exams date closely together, making us no time to study for the next paper. The previous paper ended at 19:00 Monday, and the next paper was Wednesday 09:00. It’s like you only have 1 full day to study. You need to revise, which probably takes you half a day. Memorize some theories, 2 to 3 hours. Now, WHERE DO YOU HAVE TIME FOR PAST YEARS PAPERS (PYP)?!!! In uni, at least for mine, PYP is a very important tool to revise for exam. They usually set closely to the standard in PYP. I don’t know why and how but the lectures taught usually like ‘wah so easy, okay I understand’ or ‘*ask people* wah I finally understand’. But when you do PYP, even you have your lecture notes beside you, you can also stuck at the same question for hours and in the end, still need to peek at past year student’s solution to know how to do. PYP will definitely demoralize your confidence.

Anyway, I haven’t elaborate more on my CSC203 paper. There are 4 questions for 2 hours. Very good, I spent 45 minutes doing question 1. Xian, now the timing to answer the rest of the paper is screwed. So I was chionging all the way. I read the questions briefly, and I know that I will surely left out some important points. I was correct. Out of the exam hall when my friends were discussing on the paper, I realized that I didn’t do one sub question!! Xian. There may still be more careless interpretation on the question, but I refused to hear their discussion anymore. Hai.

Yesterday paper, CSC202 Algorithm that was the most unconfident paper I had so far. Because…I LEFT 18 MARKS WORTH QUESTIONS BLANK!! No time!! And those of that I answered, I also not confident that they will be perfect.

Haiiiiiiii.

During our lunch break after the Exam, the group of us were discussing about their Exams Life Theory. Starting from Shen Wei, after absorbing too many theories in Human Resource Management (CSC184) module, he came out one for the Exam Lifecycle too. Our lecture had a Vroom’s Expectancy Theory that says [Effort -> á Performance -> Reward]. Shen Wei came out with [Study a lot -> Low Result -> á Disappointment]. [Study little -> Low Result -> A bit disappointment]. Hence, one should not study.

To continue with this, Gary mentioned the Criminal Mindset Theory (can’t remember the actual name) that we learnt in Economic in the first year. It is about 2 criminals done a crime together and were caught. However, not enough evidence against them so the Police asked them to say out the truth and the sentence will be lighter. So, here comes the theory…:

Yea, the best situation is both don’t confess! Same theory applies to Exam. If everyone doesn’t study for Exam, the school will moderate up, and eventually everyone scored very well for Exam. Otherwise, it will moderate down, and your hard work may even result you to only a B. So conclusion, everyone should not work hard!

Then Gary had turned me in for another theory contribution. During Year 1 Semester 1, our last Exam (I still remember it was CSC101 module), I was very nervous outside the hall, waiting to go in. That’s the worst paper back then as I can’t do a single question in that module’s past year’s paper. So I begin to clasp my 2 hands together, hold it high to my mouth, and pray… “I hope that everyone can’t do their paper”. Gary was beside me back then and he overheard. He gave a stunned look. Hey, I didn’t mean anything bad. Just that if everyone can’t do their paper, they will moderate up, and everyone will score better than what they expect. Happy ending for all~ And my pray really comes true. That module was the only A- I got for the whole Uni life.

So the conclusion for all these theories is...everyone don't study hard is the optimize solution.

Just return home from Human Resource Management Exam. Xian! Feel that write not enough points... Xian. Everyone wrote so many, but I.... Hai.. Please... Don't let me score badly... Pray~~~ Sad.

It was so pain until I wanted to cry, but there's so many people there, I mean my clique were there too, and they overheard the bang as well though they were a meter or 2 in front (this shows how loud it was), so I hold back the tears. It was very painful. Now still got the 恐惧感, don't dare to touch my head. Cries
